Brooklyn Bridge

After an extensive search for the most qualified company to restore the landmark Brooklyn Bridge, New York City chose Herbert Rose to do the job. Herbert Rose is highly regarded for its expertise in pre-construction preparation such as scaffolding and sidewalk protection bridges. We were honored to send the first contract crew to work on the bridge since its construction over one hundred years ago. Because of the bridges unique age and construction, we had to design, build and install special rigging before our masons and artisans could begin to restore the anchorage masonry to its original condition. Upon completion, the project was hailed as a monumental success. As a company that takes great pride in preserving the artistry of the past for the skyline of the future, we were particularly gratified to play such an important role in preserving this architectural piece of New York City history.
