McCosker Engineering
Because of low water pressure on the upper floors of this 12-story luxury prewar building, the engineer and management company called in Rosenwach Tank to investigate the problem. It was quickly determined that after servicing the building for so many years, the tank had simply become worn and had deteriorated. The tank had to be replaced. A new tank was lifted onto a raised platform to ensure consistent water pressure.

Hebert Rose, Inc. was called in to fabricate a steel structure on top of the existing bulkhead to elevate the new tank. In addition, the team modified the bulkhead to accommodate the weight and restored its interior. The residents not only received excellent water pressure; l they acquired a new storage space on the roof, and even had the bulkhead cornice restored.
